The Spark
We met. Ayushya was in IIT Guwahati, pursuing dreams under the eastern skies, while Tanuj was in EX Squared Solutions, navigating the professional world. Two different paths, drawing closer.
First Meeting
Ayushya took the step to meet Tanuj in person. The virtual screens faded, replaced by real laughs, real eyes, and the realization that distance is just a number when two souls click.
Will You Be My Boyfie?
Ayushya asked Tanuj to be her boyfie. The nervousness, the hope, and the beautiful "Yes" that officially bound us together. The adventure began.
Golden Days
Days filled with warmth, shared chats, late-night phone calls, and the ease of loving and being loved. Building sweet memories block by block.
The Silent Echoes
We entered a dark phase on August 26th. The conversations stopped, and silence filled the space where laughs used to be. For over 8 months, we walked separate paths, but the connection remained buried deep within, refusing to disappear.
Finding Our Way Back
After months of silence, we discovered that the love had never faded. We admitted our feelings and decided to date for real. A stronger, more mature promise to hold on to what we had.
Bridges of Photos
Ayushya left for DIAT. Long distance meant sending pictures across states to bridge the physical gap. But separation couldn't stop us—Tanuj came specially a day early, just to spend quiet moments together before Ayushya left after Diwali.
The Bangalore Shift
Tanuj shifted to Bangalore for a new job, opening up a fresh canvas in the Garden City. A new step forward in his career, and a new focal point for our story.
Coldplay — The Best Day of My Life
A sky full of stars. Singing our hearts out under yellow lights, dancing in the crowd, and feeling completely alive. It was, without a doubt, the best day of my life.
Chasing Distance — February
Ayushya took a flight to Bangalore, trading miles for weekend hugs. The start of monthly flights to hold Tanuj's hand, keeping the spark alive against the distance.
Chasing Distance — April
Flew back to Bangalore for another precious weekend. Standardizing our monthly routine of finding home in a different city, one boarding pass at a time.
Chasing Distance — May
Fulfilling our promise to stay close. Took the flight to Bangalore in May, cherishing the warmth, the food, and the simplicity of breathing the same air.
Eight Months of Nearness
Ayushya moved to Bangalore. No more flights, no more screen calls. Just eight wonderful months of living near each other, sharing regular days, evening tea, cooking, and the beautiful comfort of immediate presence.
A Fighter's Promise
"There are only two ends I’ll ever accept for myself — either wrapped in the tricolor, or old and wrinkled, holding your hand. Nothing else. No halfway, no maybe, no leaving.
It took me a year to fight myself. To break down the walls I built, to face everything I was too scared to feel. And then I had to fight you — your doubts, your distance, your silence. But I fought, and somehow, I got you.
And I’m not done. I’ll fight on the landscape of the heart. I’ll fight on the borders of hell. I’ll fight on the stairs of heaven if I have to — because loving you has never been about comfort, it’s been about conviction.
As long as I’m breathing, I’ll fight for us. No matter what. No matter who. No matter how hard. You’re not just a part of my story. You are the story."
The Departure
Duty called, and Ayushya had to leave Bangalore to complete her MTech. The daily shared routines ended, and the quiet weight of long distance settled back over our days.
Gathering Clouds
Ayushya returned to Bangalore for visits. But distance and stress had taken a toll. Frustrations flared, harsh words were spoken, and Ayushya scolded Tanuj, leaving him deeply hurt and distant.
The Breaking Point
Ayushya came to celebrate Tanuj's birthday. But instead of celebration, the weight of accumulated hurt crushed the atmosphere. Tanuj, deeply wounded by past scoldings, broke up. The world went silent again.
The Crossroads
Today, Tanuj is coming to meet. After the silence, after the hurt, we stand face to face once more. The air is filled with unspoken words, unresolved feelings, and the memory of everything we've built since April 2023.
